  : The accommodation is next door to a movie theatre so if you want to sleep before midnight it's really difficult

  : This is a little gem of an apartment right beside the park containing the Acropolis. It has a beautiful roof terrace with stunning views of the Parthenon and Temple of Athena Nike. We enjoyed eating dinner up there, taking in the spectacular views of the Acropolis and over the city. All the historical sites are within easy walking distance and there is a path through the park to the Monastiraki which has a fab flea market and lots of lovely bars and restaurants. There are plenty of good restaurants right beside the apartment too, but at night the street is quiet and private. The property owner was very helpful and quick to respond to any queries. He also organised airport transfers which which was great. The place was spotlessly clean and I will definitely stay again if I am ever lucky enough to go back to Athens.
  : At times, there was a smell in the bathroom, however I attribute this to the old sewers of an ancient city, it did not overly bother us or take away from our enjoyment of the property.
